There are number of things I'm sure you could think of doing during your time off of work, but here are some suggestions we have:

While On Maternity Or Paternity Leave

1. Take advantage of the time you have with your newborn. It goes by much too fast!
2. Write and send out Thank You cards to those who attended the baby shower or for any gifts you or the baby received after the baby was born
3. Bond with your baby
4. Relax
5. Be sure to include other children and pets so that they do not feel left out
